After an agonizingly slow drive over unpaved roads,
the crew sights their quarry. Erica Arborea. This heath bush
grows in dry, sandy soil. It forms a root burl to retain as much
moisture as possible when moisture is available. From the photo
many of the bushes look as if they are not vital, but it's a
hardy plant.
