Briar Mill Tour - Phase One
Here is a close up view of what the trimmed
burls look like after the harvester is done with them.
It is a little tough to see, but compare them to the untrimmed
burls along side these.
The burls are now placed underground and kept
moist while the harvesters continue their search. If they
were to allow the burls to remain above ground for
too long, there is the possibility they would crack while
drying, which would render them useless.
