It was a sad day when this letter arrived, though we knew it was coming. The stationery and the typewriter ribbon are brown (tobacco) colored, staying in character. Note: The phone numbers and addresses shown are no longer in use. Though the letter refers to, "Your new supplier," in Germany, the Elephant & Castle line was never produced by any firm other than C.E. McConnell, Ltd.
